Mariana began her career in artistry through ceramic sculpting and became nationally recognized by the Visual Arts Scholastic Events hosted by the TAEA. Her award winning sculptures have been proudly showcased at the Houston Public Library.

She learned to adapt her skills in visual design to the pastry education she received at Houston Community College. She has since been invited to return to HCC, as a proud alumni, to teach enthusiastic pastry chefs.

Her dedication has allowed her to establish Sweet Nation Cake Studio & Academy in Houston, Texas. In recent years, she has been featured as the Cake Expert Spokesperson for the Houston Bridal Extravaganza. This has created many opportunities for her to share her expertise with engaged couples from all over the U.S.

She continues to be inspired by pastry artists from around the world and enjoys creating unique edible masterpieces for all occasions.
